Again, still another techno-tool to help you with your studies. This blog is "work-in-progress" , which means that things are added and removed on a regular basis. Here you'll find extra-reading, extra-listening, extra-grammar stuff, extra writing tips... extra-everything, so it's up to you what you do with it. Needless to say, your feedback, ideas, and comments are very welcome.

Merry Christmas

The time has come for Christmas greetings and I'm always quite at a loss as to what to post. So this year it's going to be an invitation to come to the EOI celebration tomorrow (lots of food, drink, live music, and a good laugh)...

Update Thursday 23rd
Thanks everybody who came to the party yesterday, it was really nice to see you all there eating, drinking and having a good time. So I'll change this post a bit and embed this e-Christmas 2.0 sent by Mireia (4C).

Some music ...

Found at bee mp3 search engine

And I'd like to repeat a classic from last year:

Stephen Fry is a well known British actor, writer, and comedian.
Here's the script if you need it (some aspects you've been working on this year highlighted in yellow) .

I wish you a merry Christmas and all the best for the coming year !

Are you always quite at a loss? Then you will understand me when you read my compositions, especially the second one where I forgot it was a letter.
As you know very well, my problems exceed the English language.
Like always,I wich you joyous and well-being, but in this days Merry Chritsmas too, of course.

I'm quite often at a loss, Guillermo, and quite confused now, because you wich me, you which me, you bewitch me...which of the three witches is a wicked bitch?
I also wish you a merry Xmas and all the best for the coming year!

(...and don't worry too much about the composition... nobody sends letters these days, do they?):-)

This happen to follow your advice and do not use the dictionary. In addition, you must know some people say it is necessary to make mistakes to learn. Anyway, I felt safer before, using the google translator to make the compositions............

Good Holidays!

I agree with you on everything ...except the Google translator, which luckily you can't have at exam time. By the way, try translating some English sentences into Spanish and see what happens!
