Again, still another techno-tool to help you with your studies. This blog is "work-in-progress" , which means that things are added and removed on a regular basis. Here you'll find extra-reading, extra-listening, extra-grammar stuff, extra writing tips... extra-everything, so it's up to you what you do with it. Needless to say, your feedback, ideas, and comments are very welcome.

*This blog is 'apture-powered', which means that if you highlight a word, a 'learn more' sign will theoretically appear. Click on it and it will show a list of internet links related to that word. Just try.

Talking about body language, did you know that now you can control Gmail with your body?

Learn more (and give it a try) at gmail.com/motion

Or... could this possibly be one of these?

Yes, another funny joke from UK (April fool's day). It's interesting, but I would rather continue using the mouse instead of my body because I couldn't imagine my work colleagues dancing in front of their computers. It could seem a dancing class instead of an office.
However, It's likely to be possible (I mean using body instead of mouse, of course).

You're right, Raul. It's difficult to imagine the whole staff in a sort of improvised e-mail choreography. But then maybe going to the gym would be no longer necessary!

It can be a joke but i'm sure we will see more stupid things on the future.
Do not forget that all the engines that the humankind has invented have been done to do our activities easily and faster in order to be more productive but if you take a minute to think about it, there are several items created for us that has not done our life better.
As Isaac Asimov said and Mariona posted a few weeks ago "Someday computers will take over our lives".
Reality always goes longer than the fictions… Do not laugh too much!!

Truth is stranger than fiction more often than not, I agree. So what are the things that were meant to be useful but don't make my life easier? My car? no. My washing machine? No. The plane? no, no, no.... Computers?.... mmmh, more specifically this internet invention, this blog thing, which keeps me entertained for longer than I would want to, and leaves me wondering who you are, dear Merlin ;-)
