Once in a Blue Moon

"Once in a blue moon" is an idiom that means that something happens not very often.
But what's a blue moon? You'll see it tonight, on New Year's Eve, if you look up at the sky.
Do you want to know more? Read here.
I wish you all the best for the coming year!

Hi teacher, you're really great!
I find this kind of things interesting. I'll look up at the "blue moon" tonight if the clouds let me.
I wish you all the best for the New Year, too!

And not a single cloud! Wasn't it beautiful?

Hi!
Happy New Year!
A little comment about the blue moon on New Year's Eve.
I guess you (Mariona, Romuald and other)also would see the partial lunar eclipse that day. Don't you?
It was beautiful, of course.
I which that the twenty ten year brings the best to you.

An eclipse? Oops, I missed it. I didn't see it. I think there's another one, though, one of these days -but you'll have to go to Easter Island (Isla de Pascua) to see it!
By the way, which of the three witches wishes you a happy new year? Myself, of course.

Three witches? I'm lost. I wanted to say I wish (no which)a happy new year, but where are the witches? I don't belive in witches, although they are in everywhere.
By the way, you have to watch "Avatar". I can't belive that anybody can dislike this movie.
See you soon.

I made an exception and went to the cinema, and you're right: the scenery, the forest, the trees and plants and flowers, the views when the characters run or jump...the images in general are breathtaking -no 3D though, it must be much better with your 3D glasses on I guess!

I forgot to tell you about the 3D glasses. I guessed that everybody would go to watch this option, but it doesn't matter, so you can go again. As you say, it is much better.
