No Class Today

Hi all,
Yesterday I could hardly speak when I started the class, and ended up with no voice at all. Today I still can't speak and have a bit of a temperture, so no class today.

I've been to the virtual doctor this morning, my first visit of this kind, but he didn't really give me a solution, so if any of you have an effective remedy, please let me know.
I've contacted the class delegates (4B,4C)about this today and will contact the class delegates (4A) tomorrow morning.
- Update Wednesday 18
No class today either, sorry. Voice a bit better (thyme is proving a powerful remedy) but still can't speak.
- Update Thursday 19
Ok, things are getting better. I'll try to come today and see what happens, so no holiday today Sorry kids !

I actually have thyme and have been drinking thyme tea the whole afternoon. It may take 'time' to take effect though! Let's see what happens.
Thanks for offering!

Hi Mariona:
I am very sorry for you and your voice although, to be honest, I have to admit I glanced yesterday when I knew I could go home straight.
About some advice, I meanly think you must take this opportunity to rest (as me) and then you also can take lemon and sage. They are very good to the throat.
I hope you recover very soon.
Best regards
Guillermo
PD. Maybe, the baths in the sea.....You will tell me.

Hi Mariona,

I hope you're getting better. I know that and it's really a problem. I hope see you soon now I'm ok!

Best regards

You shouldn't be so honest, Guillermo :-)!I can hear you all cheering and celebrating, and having fun! Make hay while the sun shines, as they say, because that's not going to last long!
You know cold water is the only one thing I'm not going to give up, even if that means having to take a double dose of lemon and sage! Thanks for the prescription!

Thanks Magda and Romuald for your get well messages!

Sorry for not writing earlier, but I've been very busy for days.

I know you're better now but for another day you have problems with your voice or "not voice", I recommend you try with:
-prepare a glass of hot lemon and honey
-gargle with it
-drink it
-that's all!
Best wishes!

Thanks, Vero. I'm afraid gargling lemon and honey will have to be a regular practice for me!
